Sri Alluri Sitarama Raju Jayanthi: The Eternal Flame of Courage and Freedom

Every year on 4 July , we pause to remember one of India's greatest sons, Alluri Sitarama Raju, whose life continues to inspire generations with its extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to justice. On his 129th Jayanthi , we pay tribute to the legendary Manyam Veerudu —the Hero of the Forests—whose name has become synonymous with fearless patriotism. Born on 4 July 1897  in present-day Andhra Pradesh, Alluri Sitarama Raju displayed remarkable intelligence, spiritual depth, and compassion from a young age. He travelled extensively, studied Indian philosophy, and developed a deep understanding of the struggles faced by ordinary people.
