Every language has a song that touches the soul of its people. For Telugu-speaking communities worldwide, that song is “మా తెలుగు తల్లికి మల్లెపూదండ” (Maa Telugu Talliki Mallepoo Danda). It is more than just a melody – it is a heartfelt offering to Telugu Thalli, the symbolic mother of the Telugu people, celebrating her beauty, values, and cultural richness.
This unforgettable song was penned by Sankarambadi Sundarachari garu, a poet whose words continue to bind millions of Telugu hearts with love and pride. Today, August 10, we remember and honour him on his birth anniversary.
